Annual Review

Fifth Year Reveiw to April 2014. Our fifth full year started with us still putting on hold pursuing funding for project development.
With the loss of an imminent grant from Sport England, and our application withdrawn but still eligible to the Football Foundation, gave us a pause to regroup our efforts.
The next attempt at Inspired Facilities grants from Sport England would be September 2014.
so with promisory grants from the Constance Green Foundation on the tablewith another from Pengeston Lodge of the Freemasons the project could be revived at anytime utilising the range of Sport England's Inspired Facilities modular buildings direct from their contractors.
Further charitable trusts were available for funding applications to assist with groundwork and utility provision costs.
The Trustees had drawn up a basic phase one provision of changing facilities for two teams and separate pfficials, with showers, toilets, disabled provision, a small meeting room, and a kitchen. Plus an external large secure store.
this approach also benefitted from not requiring a formal business plan as the application process gathered all relevant information via templates.
At this point the Parish Council embarked on drawing up a a Neighbourhood Plan, one section of which was headed Leisure and Tourism, and it was felt best to incorporate our overall requirements into this planning and perhaps result in further facility requirements and new funding streams.
This is ongoing and once community accepted the baton for community facilities including changing rooms on the playingfield can come to fruition.
